This is the “Official” Launch Picture of the Roosevelt’s first DASO launch of a Polaris A3 missile in July 1974.
However,
Larry FitzGerald was the Leading MT, and since he actually worked on the missile, he knows that it didn’t have these black telemetry markings on it.
Their missile had to be destroyed in the 2nd stage.
